Without warning, an aggressive doe suddenly turned on a young yearling and launched a full-force attack. What followed was difficult to watch and left us stunned in real time. We have documented this particular doe showing dominance and aggression before, but we had never seen anything this severe.

This footage offers a rare look into the darker and more complex side of whitetail deer behavior. Territoriality, dominance, and survival instincts play a much bigger role in herd dynamics than most people realize. While deer are often seen as gentle and peaceful animals, moments like this remind us that nature can be both beautiful and brutal.
