The MacMaster is at Top Gear star James May's pub The Royal Oak in Swallowcliffe, Salisbury to review The Fish and Chips. James May aside this is a wonderful pub with blend of traditional 18th century architecture and stylish, modern interior design, The Royal Oak is the perfect rural hideaway.
If you are travelling from a far then don't despair as you can also stay the night in one of The Royal Oak's individually designed rooms with all the modern comfort of a luxury small hotel, while retaining an intimate homely feel.
Each bedroom features large comfortable beds, crisp Egyptian cotton sheets, soft goose down duvets and pillows, ensuite bathrooms or showers and state of the art televisions. There is free wifi throughout the building and complimentary fresh coffee and tea in your room.
As well as having two adjoining rooms they also have cot beds and comfy folding beds for children. All of the rooms are dog friendly at a charge of £15 per dog.
Each room has been named after a a local area of outstanding natural beauty.

I don't want to give the review away, but this is one beautiful pub, set in the heart of an idyllic landscape.
