M.Bison is the main boss of the game. He is an unlockable playable character.

===== Additional Information =====

---- When the CPU is controlling M.Bison and he performs the Psycho projectile, you'll find that he often recovers from the move MUCH quicker than if a human player performed the same move with him. Only the CPU-controlled Bison can do this.

---- When the CPU is controlling M.Bison, it does not need to charge to perform his Special Moves or Super Combos. Of course.

---- M.Bison is the only character in SFA1 who does not have any chain combos.

---- His personal boss in the game is Rose.

---- SFA1 is the only game where Bison has some unique voices and grunts. They were changed for SFA2 and beyond.

---- M.Bison is known as Vega in Japan.

---- The game is known as Street Fighter Zero in Japan.

===== About M.Bison =====
Probably the most famous fighting game boss character, and the staple Street Fighter villain.

Alpha 1 Bison is fun to use. His Knee Press and Head Stomp/flight is much faster and more responsive than in Alpha 2 or Alpha 3, making him a more dynamic character.

Alpha 1 CPU Bison is the hardest of the Alpha Bisons to fight against. Set the game onto difficulty level 8, and fight against him for a decent challenge!

===== About SFA1 =====
Street Fighter Alpha 1 kicked off the brilliant Alpha series... the game still holds a place in my heart. Despite it being a bit "broken" (competitive-gameplay-wise), it's still good fun. It is the only Alpha game with chain combos as one of it's core mechanics.

On a personal level, I think the Arranged/Remixed soundtrack music in the PS1 and Saturn versions are one of the best styles of instrumentals that Capcom have produced. It's basically the really emphasized jazzy, funky techno stuff.
