A Rare Meet! CN Trains 305 and 474 Meet at Lutesville East - Moncton, NB (Nov 18, 2017)

As CN manifest train X474 waits in the "hole" at Lutesville East, CN manifest train M305 (Moncton, NB Gordon Yard to Toronto, On MacMillan Yard) led by Canadian National Railway locomotives 8914 (EMD SD70M-2), 2521 (C44-9LW), 5659 (EMD SD75I), 2585 (C44-9W), and mid-train remote DPU 2280 (ES44DC Gevo) slowly accelerates westbound at Lutesville just after departing from the Gordon Yard hauling 188 cars (758 axles) consisting of mixed freight, empty Canpotex potash hoppers, and a large cut of double stack intermodal containers. Once CN 305 cleared the signal at Lutesville East, CN manifest train X474 (Joffre, PQ to Moncton, NB Gordon Yard) slowly pulls back onto the main line for the short trip to the Gordon Yard only about 2 miles east of this location. 474 power is 2968 (ES44AC Gevo), and 2631 C44-9W) and also had intermodal that was set off at Joffre from the last CN 120.
In my 8 years of videoing train, I think this is the first time I firmed a meet at this siding.
