This video serves as a guide for Gathering, Scanning, Unlocking, and usage of all scannable items in satisfactory. Some items are similar in the game so this video may contain items that seem repetitive. Timestamps for each item will be provided below.

Researches enable new Milestones to be unlocked at the HUB. Researches can be conducted at the M.A.M. which is added to the HUB after completing the tier 0 milestone "Hub Upgrade 5" and finding an item that can be researched. If the engineer pick up an research-able item, a narration from ADA will inform the player to research it. It is advised to check the M.A.M. upon discovering something new to see if that item can be researched.
Performing a research consumes the item(s) being researched and takes some time to complete, depending on the type of research. Some researches require multiple items of the same type. A narration from ADA will be played upon completion of a research. The engineer will then required to proceed to the M.A.M.. Upon opening the M.A.M. UI, ADA will inform the engineer of the research results.
