Описание: This installation showcases one of the newest designs from de Gournay’s collaboration with Beata Heuman, a collection celebrated for its sense of whimsy, atmosphere, and narrative. This project took place inside their showroom, where we were brought in to transform the walls surrounding a ceiling we had previously installed. The goal was to create a continuous, immersive environment where the mural flows naturally from above down through a narrow stairway.
To achieve this, we began by removing the existing wallpaper, repairing and smoothing the walls, and installing new lining paper to ensure a perfect foundation for the scenic design. The mural itself is a breathtaking hand-painted landscape, full of depth and subtle movement. Every panel required precision, from matching the artwork across long walls to aligning each section in the tight stairway so the scene remains uninterrupted.
Our team approached the project with the same craftsmanship and respect that these materials deserve, paying attention to every small detail to honor the artistry behind de Gournay’s hand-painted work. The final result is a beautifully cohesive space where walls and ceiling complement one another, allowing the mural to surround you completely as you move through the showroom.
