Описание: My 79 Triumph Spitfire 1500 differential video, findings after about 28,000 miles of road mileage. I have proof the fiber thrust washers can breakup. Copper replacements can be home made from a bronze sheet of proper thickness. Reassembly of a SB TW will give me some idea as to what the required thickness would be with my existing planet wheel cupped thrust washers. The stamped 29 did measure .029" but the 1.04 is not inches. Part 1 diff depends on if I find something that is different than normal sounds of these cars make driving over the road. 3Aug2020 I posted the rebuilt differential video named "Is this the horribly tight rub some talked about". Getting the planet thrust washers tight enough was interesting, I had to backoff on the .039'' and decided to use the .035''. Turning the axles was easier with the .035'', it's there in the video.
