This series covers the first attempt of Pokémon Platinum. The series follows a set of nuzlocke rules that have been documented below:
Once per route the first Pokémon can be caught. (Exception being a duplicate Pokémon/Species, then the encounter can be rerolled)
If a Pokémon faints, they are dead.
Game must be played in Set Mode. (cannot swap Party while a trainer is sending in their next Pokémon)
Pokémon can only be leveled to the level of the next gym leaders/champion's ace. (Level Caps have been recorded below)
Only Held Items can be used in battle.
These are the Level Caps for each Gym Leader and the Champion:
Gym One | Roark - Level 14
Gym Two | Gardenia - Level 22
Gym Three | Fantina - Level 26
Gym Four | Maylene - Level 32
Gym Five | Crasher Wake - Level 37
Gym Six | Byron - Level 41
Gym Seven | Candice - Level 44
Gym Eight | Volkner - Level 50
Champion | Cynthia - Level 62
