There are many good Pinewood Derby lubricant options, but we wanted to know if any were significantly better than the others. What’s faster, dry or wet lubes? Watch and see what we learned!
It is important to note that this comparison was conducted with unpolished axles and wheels. On relatively rough surfaces, some lubes such as graphite, may outperform extremely low viscosity silicones. Low viscosity silicone fluids which produce thin and relatively weak, but low drag films, perform best on highly polished surfaces.
