If you break no contact with your ex narcissist they think that you are ok with however they previously treated you. Time is not an apology and only consistent changed behavior is acceptable. No contact is the most efficient way to help you get over the narcissist in your life but slip ups are common due to the trauma bond, kids and wanting some sort of closure.
