Описание: East Palestine is a small village in Columbiana County, Ohio. Founded in 1828, it was once an industrial hub for ceramics and manufacturing. Renamed from Mechanicsburg to East Palestine. Incorporated as a city in 1875. East Palestine became qualified Tree City USA as recognized by The National Arbor Day Foundation in 2004. East Palestine features several historic, structures that reflect its early industrial and railway driven history. The East Palestine Historical Society maintains a historic 1814 sandstone log cabin. The town gained national attention due to a major Norfolk Southern train derailment in February 2023. The day I visited the town the temperature was around 14 degrees pretty cold, but The Original Roadhouse Restaurant in East Palestine was a great find to warm me up and have dinner, the food was very good.
