This is the full length of Interstate 495 circumnavigating Washington D.C., also known as the Capital Beltway. The ring road is physically located in the surrounding states of Maryland and Virginia, with a tiny portion within the corner of the District of Columbia's borders.
The eastern portion of I-495 is concurrent with I-95.
This video contains solely the direction running clockwise, officially referred to as the inner loop. Express lanes and High occupancy toll lanes (HOT lanes) are taken.
Weather is clear and traffic is free flowing. Video is timed to start at first daylight.
