2002-06 MINI Cooper S Clutch Replacement Part 1 of 2

Описание: Mechanics eye view as I remove the transmission, replace clutch and rear main seal. Same procedure for any 2002-2006 Cooper S or 2005-2008 Cooper S convertible.

Procedure is the same for any R53 or R53 supercharged MINI Cooper, year 2003 - 2006. For non-supercharged MINIs 2002-2006, you don't need to remove the bumper or most of the air intake path.
Job includes removal of front bumper, crash bumper, front end service, removing halfshafts, subframe, starter motor, power steering reservoir, wheel liners, air intake, throttle body, intercooler.

Other stuff to replace while you you have the subframe and front of the car out:
Crankshaft position sensor o-ring
Rear main seal
Inner and outer ball joints
Control arm bushings
Front sway bar bushings
Any leaking power steering hoses
Loose tie rod ends

If you still have energy, supercharger oil service?
