Drone video from Wednesday (September 6) captured the scale of destruction after a tropical cyclone slammed parts of southern Brazil, killing at least 36 people after it unleashed heavy rains and floods.
In the state of Rio Grande do Sul, rescue teams combed through debris in the town of Mucum for more bodies. The state is on alert for more floods in the cyclone's aftermath.
The Rio Grande do Sul floods are just the latest recent natural disasters in Brazil. More than 50 people were killed in Sao Paulo state this year after massive downpours caused landslides and flooding.
