This video is based on the new EU laws pertaining to restriction of market access to Tyres, which use natural rubber from plantations, which have been created after deforestation after 2020. These EUDR laws may create supply chain issues, particularly regarding traceability of raw material
We expect similar laws regarding deforestation to affect many other products and similar laws may come up in other countries.
While the Tyre industry in India is generally considered to be ready for this, some companies may have supply chain issues or increased cost.
