A warm and busy day in Grandma Lyudmila’s village 🌿
Our family gathered together to harvest quince from a big garden tree — buckets full of golden fruit! 🍋
While Grandma and the kids washed, sliced, and cooked quince for homemade jam and sweet compote, the house filled with laughter, barking dogs, and the smell of sugar and fruit.
The next day, Grandma’s son began a new DIY project — building a sturdy kitchen shelf from scrap metal and wood, all for $0. The children helped with painting and holding the parts, and soon the beautiful black shelf found its place in Grandma’s kitchen, giving her more space for the microwave and teapot.
Between family teamwork, warm smiles, and the cozy sounds of daily life, these two days became another heartfelt memory from our simple village life ❤️
