PART 1 (Molding powder)
Take water in a suitable clean container.
Powder/water ratio=1:2 , i.e if you are taking 1 cup of molding powder , take 2 cup of water.
Add powder slowly and begin mixing.
Mix vigorously to break down any lumps. Use an electric/hand blender to mix it.Working time is approx.1 min.
Apply some moisturizing oil and put the hand for molding.(Pay attention not to touch the bottom or wall of the container).
Keep still until the liquid in the container solidifies.Take approx.2-3 min.
Shake hand easily to let air enter the mold so that hand is easy to pull out. Now your mold is ready.
PART 2 (Casting powder)
20-30 ml water shall be added in 100 gms of casting powder.Take the required amount of casting powder and water accordingly.
Mix water in the casting powder.The consistency should not be too thin or too thick,it should be medium consistency. e.g. like Dosa.
Pour the mixture in to the mold.Fill the mold properly by mixture.
Gently tap the container to expel air bubbles from the powder water mixture.
Let dry for 2-3 hrs.Remove the mold carefully.
Use a brush to pick out the remaining impurities in the fine seam , completed.
