In Purnea, Bihar, three Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBVs) are empowering speech and hearing-impaired girls in Grades 6–8 through inclusive learning.
This is what foundational learning means in practice—ensuring every child, regardless of ability, has access to quality education from the start.
With support from the Bihar Education Project Council, Samagra Shiksha, and UNICEF India, teachers are being equipped to support every girl’s dream to learn, express, and lead.
