Описание: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has written a letter to Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, asking him to stop the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists in the state immediately. She said there are serious problems in the process, including rule violations and poor administration.

Mamata Banerjee claimed the voter list revision is being done in a rushed and unplanned way and warned that it could remove many genuine voters from the list, causing serious harm to democracy. A Trinamool Congress leader also strongly criticized the Election Commission, calling it biased and demanded that the SIR process be cancelled. The party said it is fighting to protect the voting rights of the people of West Bengal.
