The artistry behind the Spiderverse films is amazing. One scene within the second movie really stuck with me. It's amazingly well written and the visual design of it is just stunning.
The key principle here that we can learn is to have a purpose in our art. Once we've decided on that purpose, use the design tools we have (value, shapes, edges, colour) to hit that purpose with maximum impact. The artists behind this scene did that so strongly. Each composition reflects the story and character moments perfectly and boldly.
