Part 4 picks up right where things got interesting. After an eventful day on the trails, we’re heading back with a machine that’s definitely seen better moments. My Outlander took a hit earlier in the ride, leaving us with a bent lower control arm and a damaged tie‑rod end. With some trail‑side persuasion, we managed to bend everything back just enough to keep the wheels pointed in the same direction and limp it out.
In this part of the ride, we leave the deep woods behind for a bit and cruise the paved roads, letting the machines cool down and regroup before diving back into the trails. Even with the front end tweaked, the Outlander holds together long enough to get us moving again.
We make our way from Petitcodiac through Salisbury, working our way back toward home as the sun starts dropping and the trails settle down. It’s the final stretch of a long, wild day — broken parts, good friends, and the kind of ride you don’t forget.
