El colirrojo tizón (Phoenicurus ochruros) es una especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Muscicapidae. Suele encontrarse, en medios más naturalizados, en laderas rocosas con piedras y peñascos. Se trata de un ave de 14 cm de longitud y 24 cm de envergadura, de color negro con una cola de tono rojizo-anaranjado en los machos. Se alimenta de insectos, arañas y pequeños invertebrados que captura en el suelo, aunque algunas veces también al vuelo. En verano y otoño también come algunas bayas. El movimento de su cola, rápido y vibrante, es muy característico. Es uno de los pájaros que más temprano empieza a cantar por las mañanas, aunque también se le oye durante la puesta de sol y a veces incluso por la noche.
