They’re now pretending to care about investment and deregulation, after years of self-inflicted economic damage from the Green Deal, GDPR, and endless woke compliance nonsense. Meanwhile, America innovates, China competes, and Europe... legislates itself into irrelevance.
The real kicker? They want to regulate AI, space, quantum tech, and biotech—industries they barely have a foothold in. And they’re drowning companies in sustainability reporting without even knowing what they’ll do with the data. The only winners? Lawyers and accountants.
Is this the beginning of the EU admitting Net Zero was a disaster, or just more performative nonsense?
