Rocky start for #BigBig2 this season scrambling to put the car together, while going in frozen turkey into this event for the first shakedown. With no word on my Raybestos order from last year, I ordered a set of Endless ME20 brake pads from Japan. My first impression is that they don't have the strong initial bite that I'm used to, and require more pressure to engage the full stopping power. So I had to readjust my braking points, but I barely got enough seat time to bed in the pads before the event ended prematurely.

The bigger issue I was not expecting was that apparently the SPL front control arms installed seem to be faulty. There was some play in the arms under heavy load as they don't seem to clamp in place even when tightened on the verge of snapping the adjustment screws. I purchased the arms in hopes of maintaining better front geometry and increasing the limit of grip, but ironically the alignment was shifting while the toe and caster went out of wack after the event.

The SPL front control arms now seem to be a downgrade instead of an upgrade, as I actually went slower than last year and got bumped down to 3rd place. If anyone else has experienced similar issues with the SPL parts or dealt with them regarding warranties, any input would be appreciated.
