This particular style of Rolex Daytona was popularised by actor and race car driver, Paul Newman, who was often photographed wearing one in the late 1960's/early 1970's. Famously, Paul Newman's personal Rolex Daytona sold at auction in New York in 2017 for $17.75 million, making it the most expensive wristwatch ever sold at auction.

This model is reportedly only the 5th such example to come to market and it’s being offered for sale by the original owner. According to Xupes, there are several features that make this a lemon dial Ref 6264 including:
