Описание: Days after Jagdeep Dhankhar’s resignation from office, the Election Commission on Friday announced the schedule for the Election for Vice President.

The polling for the 17th Vice-Presidential Election will take place on September 9, a notification issued by the ECI said. The last date for filing nominations for the election is August 21, Thursday, while the candidates can withdraw their names by August 25, the notification said.

The polling will take place from 10 am to 5 pm, and the counting of votes will be done on the same day.
