Details:
Hook: Live Bait Hook Size #1 or #2
Leader: 10 to 15 ft of 15 lb
Bait: Shrimp with no head or tail (taking the heads and tails off is not always necessary. Experiment or even try peeling the shrimp!)
Chum: Make sure you always have chum in your chum bag!
Oatmeal: Yellowtails love oats! Periodically throw some oats out to get the school closer to the boat.
Anchor: Anchor over a patch reef! The patch reefs are the smaller reefs in around 20 to 30 ft of water between the sand patches.
