MusicBee Spectrograms: Comparing .FLAC to .MP3

Looking at the spectrograms of some audio files from my local music library. I converted the MP3s from .FLAC, using MusicBee with Lame.exe MP3 encoder in standard quality. The MP3 compression cuts away a good part of the top frequencies (and some spots in the middle) and shrinks the file size drastically. The standard compression for .M4A/AAC creates only slightly bigger files than the .MP3s, while preserving more of the original range.
The video was recorded as lossless .AVI with OBS Studio, uploaded without any compression (audio: 1,536 kBit/s, 48.000 kHz), though Youtube currently adds its own compression for cheaper streaming (I think it's down to 128 kBit/s AAC), which makes it hard to hear any difference in sound quality at all.
