THE ROAD TO PASIC 2023 [Full Experience] - Chris Amaro Vlog #1

Описание: This video was a long time coming. I had the miraculous opportunity to attend the Percussive Arts Society International Convention 2023 in Indianapolis!

This video is a POV Vlog of my ENTIRE journey. This includes the travel, the city, the people, and of course, the Percussion and Drums!

This video took some time to make and this is my most ambitious video to date. I did sacrifice a very small amount of enjoyment of the convention in order to create this super video. To me that is worth it, as this video can hopefully give prospective percussionists a great view of what PASIC is like. All these recordings are my own, and there are used for educational and documentative purposes ONLY.

Come back in a few weeks for a follow up video. Talking about how to prepare for PASIC, what I liked or disliked, my new gear, and my encounters with famous percussionists and drummers!

Also crazy fact: This video file was so huge, that it crashed Final Cut Pro, deleted all video saved on FCX, and basically "erased" hours of work. But then, a MIRACLE; THE FOOTAGE SOMEHOW RESTORED ITSELF AND WAS UNCORRUPTED!! That may have been the scariest experience I've ever had, no hyperbole.

Some self-criticism with this: Audio balancing could’ve been better had I had more time. Also my voice overs were recorded without a script, so that is what I’ll improve on to not sound so wooden.
