Today we are in the heart of Iloilo City for the Dinagyang Grand Tribes Competition 2026. The energy was absolutely amazing!

T🌿🦋 This year, the competition had a focus on Flora and Fauna. It wasn't just about the traditional drums; the costumes were a masterpiece of nature-inspired art! There were intricate designs representing Iloilo’s rich biodiversity, from giant flowers and local animal species to mythical forest spirits. The level of detail in these costumes is mind-blowing!

I didn’t just watch from the sidelines. I actually got to join the Sadsad (street dancing)! There is nothing like the feeling of the pavement vibrating under your feet as the tribes chant "Hala Bira!" I might not have the moves of an Ati warrior, but the Ilonggo hospitality made me feel like part of the tribe.
