There have been a lot of great gimmicks in wrestling history, just look at The Undertaker, Sting, or The Rock for evidence of this. And of course, with the good comes the bad too as there have also been some pretty terrible characters out there like The Shockmaster, The Gobbledy Gooker, or Retribution, just to name a few. So, it only makes sense then that you’d want to take these bad gimmicks and turn them into good ones by changing them up, a process which has found much success over the years. But what happens when the gimmick change fails, either because the original gone was fine as it was, or because the new one was simply worse? Well, that’s exactly what we’re going to be looking at today.
