Speech of Mr. Burzine Waghmar, SOAS, during a Panel Discussion - 'CPEC: Diplomatic debt-trap or economic game-changer for South Asia?’ - organized by The European Foundation for South Asian Studies (EFSAS) at Royal Asiatic Society in London on the 15th of December 2017 in which the China Pakistan Economic Corridor was discussed through Legal, Economic, Environmental and Geo-Political perspectives by leading experts and scholars of reputed academic institutions, including Oxford University, Birmingham University and SOAS University of London.
The successful event was well attended by students from various reputable universities, human rights activists, scholars and academicians, political bodies, CPEC experts, journalists, Chinese, Pakistani, Japanese, British nationals and voices of the large South Asian Diaspora in the UK.
