We had one week to find some of the coolest things in the Big Apple, and we turned it into a super fun game. We made a list of famous NYC sights and treats to find. We searched for everything from the giant Statue of Liberty to a yummy slice of NYC pizza, and from the bright lights of Broadway to a sweet Italian treat!

The Ultimate NYC Scavenger Hunt List

Start Downtown:
1. Statue of Liberty: Spot her from the ferry or the shore!
2. Whitehall Terminal: Find the ferry terminal in lower Manhattan.
3. Neon Lights: Spot a classic neon sign in a restaurant or shop window.
4. DUMBO: Take a photo on the cobblestone streets with the Manhattan Bridge in the background.
5. Brooklyn & Manhattan Bridges: Walk across one (or just take a great picture from DUMBO!).

Head Midtown:
6. NYC Taxi: Hail a classic yellow cab (or just take a picture with one).
7. Empire State Building: Look up and find this iconic skyscraper piercing the sky.
8. Broadway: Stand on the famous street in the Theater District and soak in the buzz.
9. Radio City Music Hall: Find the legendary entertainment palace.
10. Madison Square Garden: Locate "The World's Most Famous Arena."
11. NYC Pizza: Eat a giant, foldable slice. It's the rule!
Explore the Neighborhoods:
12. Apartments: Spot a classic NYC brownstone or a towering apartment building.
13. Loft: Find a neighborhood (like SoHo or Chelsea) known for its converted industrial lofts.
14. Open Mic: Find a café or bar advertising an open mic night.
15. "I Love NY" T-Shirt, Hat & Sticker: Find a souvenir in a gift shop.
16. Food Cart: Grab a hot dog, pretzel, or halal food from a street cart.
17. Jaywalking: We played it safe! We learned that jaywalking can get you a ticket, so we always waited for the "Walk" signal at the crosswalk.

Venture Out:
18. Queens: Take the train to another borough.
19. Kosciuszko Bridge: Spot this bridge connecting Brooklyn and Queens.
20. Uptown: Take a subway or bus to the Upper East or Upper West Side.
21. Central Park: Find the entrance and explore a small part of it.
22. Grid: Notice the orderly numbered street grid of Manhattan.
23. The Bronx & Yankee Stadium: Look towards the Bronx and tip your hat to the House that Jeter
Built.
24. Hudson River: Walk along the beautiful park on the west side.
25. Verrazano Bridge: See the massive bridge connecting Brooklyn to Staten Island.
26. Zeppole: Find and try this sweet Italian treat!
