Wandering in the desert

Описание: Welcome to the Little Light Seeker channel! In this week’s episode we are learning when the Israelites didn’t trust in God enough to get them through the desert so they had to spend the next 40 years in the desert until God opened the promised land to them.

With having to travel for 40 years in the desert, I am thinking these Israelites would need a walking stick to help them through the their trek. So in order to help us remember their time in the desert we are going to make a walking stick of our own!

Supplies for snack:
-Old wrapping paper roll, or something long and cylindrical you can paint.
-Scissors
-Paint
-Stapler
-Feathers
-Ribbon

Directions:
1. If your wrapping paper roll was like mine, you will have to cut the roll length wise to make it to where you can lay it flat for your kiddo to paint.
2. Tape down paper for your child.
3. Have your kid paint the roll from top to bottom!
4. Once dry, crumble the roll to make it look like a walking stick.
5. Use the stapler to keep the edges together.
6. Attach ribbon to top.
7. Staple feathers to top for extra flair!
8. Send your kids out to journey through their desert.

Relation of our lives to the Bible story:

Sometimes we don’t have enough faith in God and we then have to search of what God was going to give us in the first place. If we keep having the faith and trust in God, we will find what he had planned for us all along.
