Why Do The Treasury Recruitment Company Travel the World?

I've travelled the world over the past five years, well past 10 years with our International Roadshow interviewing Treasurer, also on The Treasury Career Corner live stage about their careers.

What results have we seen from it? What does the world of Treasury look like out there?

One of the key comments I had at one of our last International Conferences was from one of my clients who said “Mike, you seem to be everywhere at the moment”.
I was like, “No David, I'm not everywhere, I'm just everywhere that you are”. And I was thrilled because he said, “It's great because by then doing that
you know exactly what's happening and you have your finger on the pulse as treasury recruiters”.

And that's our job. We want to understand you and your motivations as candidates or if your clients who are recruiting, we want to understand the
treasury recruitment markets on a truly global basis.

For instance, up until this year I'd spoken for the past 10 years in Chicago, a number of times at the US AFP conference and our US business is growing.
Although there's been a bit of a pause button over the past six months,
but I do see us coming back stronger than ever post summer. Katie who runs our European desk and I have become established in what we feel are underserved areas of the European treasury recruitment market.

Areas such as Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany. For instance, coming up. I'm the keynote speaker for the Nordic conference shortly, and when allowed to we will actually want to meet you face to face
rather than just chat to you on the phone.

We want to get to know you, meet you face to face, get to explain to you what's happening in the treasury recruitment industry at that moment in time. That's our reward and the success for us comes from knowing you,
what you want and matching you whether you're a client or a candidate recruiting or wanting to be recruited and looking at the next opportunity.
