Lounge is the unofficial ranking system for Mario Kart World! As this is the preseason, upon signing up for an event, you will compete in a free-for-all with 11 other players around your skill level. And skillful it certainly is, because intermission tracks are BANNED in Lounge!

You can also sign up for 24 player events that happen at the following times (EDT):
3:00 AM
9:00 AM
3:00 PM
9:00 PM

There are no official ranks (eg. Bronze, Gold, Diamond) in the preseason. The preseason will end around the end of July or later, and then official ranks will be solidified for Season 1.

Depending on your performance in your first event, you will be placed in one of 3 MMR starting positions:
Score 100+ = 6000 MMR
Score 50-99 = 5000 MMR
Score 12-49 = 4000 MMR
