Milwaukee, WI Tornado Siren Fail, Ambiance, Maintenance and Growls 10/9/2024

Описание: Here's something a little different. For Milwaukee County's monthly test in October, I left a hidden camera recording in the woods near the Mill Road P-50 to get an extra video while I recorded Brown Deer's Allertor. The P-50 failed to activate (of course, damn it), and later I got in touch with a friend who works on maintenance of the local sirens to inform him. I met up with him that evening to see him evaluate why a few of Milwaukee's legacy sirens aren't working. I got some photos and video of that process to share here.

Please note that many of the sirens that have problems are simply due to Milwaukee waiting for the system replacement. Through no fault of the company doing the work, it has been a slow process.They do great work when Milwaukee allows them to. The work seen here was done in conjunction with marking locations of new replacement sirens. Mill Road was fixed and back in action, and Whitefish Bay has been proven to still work.
