🌍 Since 1965, the United Nations has been focusing on developing the ideals of mutual understanding, peace and respect among the world's youth. The organisation then decided to pay special attention to three main themes: youth engagement, youth development and peace.
🌟 These themes were expanded and supplemented following the realities of our time. UN declared the year starting from 12 August 2010 as the Year of Youth — and thus, International Youth Day was established. Its purpose is to raise awareness of youth issues, promote their safety and greater involvement in building the future together.
🤝 The Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen Global Platform values cooperation above all else. We have prepared a video to celebrate the contribution of our children and youth to society and the values promoted by the UN. The child's safety is also important to us: 'Protecting childhood: ensuring a safe future' is the theme of our Fourth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, which will take place on 12 September 2024 in Kyiv.
