Saint Mary Magdalene,
Woman of many sins,
who by conversion became the beloved of Jesus,
thank you for your witness that Jesus forgives
through the miracle of love.

You, who already possess eternal happiness
in His glorious presence,
please intercede for me,
so that some day
I may share in the same everlasting joy.
Amen.

O Glorious St. Magdalene,
Mold of penitents,
obtain for me the grace of perseverance
in the practices of self-denial according
to the spirit of my vows:

Pray to God for me
that I may appear before Jesus, Our Lord and Master,
at the moment of my death,
with my lamp filled with the oil of faith and hope,
and burning with the pure flame of charity,
and thus merit to be received with thee
into His eternal kingdom. Amen.

Saint Mary Magdalene,
You heard from the loving lips of Jesus
that your many sins were forgiven because you loved much.

Pour out your love at His sacred feet on our behalf.

Your tears of repentance and of love
won for you the pardon of your sins
and the vision of your Risen Jesus on Easter morning.

Surely, dear Saint,
He who refused nothing to your love on earth,
will graciously replenish us with those blessings
for which we implore your prayers. Amen.

PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING FOR THE TEARS OF ST. MARY MAGDALENE
O most merciful Jesus, I give Thee thanks for that work of piety which the blessed Mary Magdalen wrought on Thee, when she washed Thy feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head, and kissed them and anointed them with fragrant ointment; whereby she obtained from Thee such signal grace that Thou did pour into her heart and soul so great a love of Thee, that she could love nothing apart from Thee; beseeching Thee, that by her merits and intercessions Thou would vouchsafe to give me tears of true repentance and pour into my heart Thy Divine love (Name Your Request). Amen.

Saint Mary Magdalene pray for us to God our father so that our sins may be forgiven the same way Jesus Christ forgave your many sins. It was through the same prayers that our Lord answered and raised your Brother Lazarus from the dead back to life.

Pray for us to God oh St Mary Magdalene so that we can get the courage to acknowledge our sins and beg Jesus Christ to forgive us. May we be encouraged by your example to always seek to be in the presence of Jesus Christ because it is in Him that we will get eternal salvation. Amen

O God, whose Only Begotten Son entrusted Mary Magdalene before all others with announcing the great joy of the Resurrection, grant, we pray, that through her intercession and example we may proclaim the living Christ and come to see him reigning in your glory. Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
