Palolem Beach - South Goa

Palolem beach is located in Canacona town of South Goa. It is famous for its crescent shaped beach and the lovely coconuts laced all across its coast line. The beach is of 2 kms long and is well connected by air, road and the railway. The major airport near to Palolem beach is Dabolim airport which is around 60 kms away and the major railway station is Mudgaon railway station, which is around 30 kms away.

Palolem Beach is now open to tourists fully in the month of December 2020 after the corona pandemic lockdown. The flow of the foreign tourists in less this year to the restrictions of the international travel, but it is partly compensated by the inflow of the domestic tourists from various parts of India.

After the pandemic, most of the Palolem beach is now open and ready to welcome the tourists and travelers

The prices of the beach huts this year are comparatively less as compared to the last year due to the lesser inflow of the tourists owing to the ongoing corona pandemic

Things To Do in Palolem Beach

Lazing on the beach, bathing, listening to music, playing football or simply walking on the sand, try some kayaking and take a boat trip to nearby island and also witness dolphins over the sunrise or the sunset.

Walk to the nearby Monkey Island in the mornings and also to the Honeymoon beach or Butterfly beach. For one to reach Butterfly beach, you will need to hire a boat and reach or trek from the leopard valley and reach by walk.

This beach is also known for its beautiful night life, romantic candle light dinners right on the beach and the Silent Noise Parties with the headphones on.
