At the 2024 BU Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, the top women in the NCAA and some professionals set out to run a quick 5,000m. They did not dissapoint.
Down the stretch Doris Lemngole (Alabama) and Hilda Olemomoi battled to the line. Lemngole came across the line in an NCAA Indoor Record 14:52.57. Olemomoi crossed in 14:52.84.
Pamela Kosgei (New Mexico) finished in third. She narrowly missed sub-15, running 15:00.36.
