I finally pulled the head off my BMW M50 engine to see what’s really going on inside. This motor is going into my E30 for a turbo build, so it was time to find out if it’s healthy or completely cooked.
In this video, you’ll see the full head removal process and my first look at the pistons and cylinder walls. This is step one of the M50 teardown and the beginning of a serious E30 turbo project.
