Each frame shows one year. Blue hexagons are cooler than the city average, red hexagons are hotter. Copenhagen shows a weaker heat island effect than Mediterranean cities -- less thermal contrast in the northern maritime climate. The harbour and Amager industrial areas are the warmest zones.
Resolution: 10m (downscaled from Landsat 30m thermal using Sentinel-2 predictors)
Method: Random Forest regression, 3-year moving window composites
Grid: 150m hexagons, ~1,700 per frame
Model fit: R-squared 0.43-0.72
Data: Landsat 8/9 Collection 2 Level 2 (thermal), Sentinel-2 L2A (10 spectral bands + 9 indices)
Basemap: OpenStreetMap contributors
City boundary: GADM administrative boundary
