Hoover H-WASH 700 Eco 40-60 (complete cycle)

overall a REALLY fantastic eco cycle with a shocking twist at the end.

honestly quite impressed to see a budget brand perform well on its eco cycle especially with it having an A rating (I'm still scarred from you know what lol) the machine was absolutely happy to take in water and did a really good wash action with spinwashes.

the cycle only lasted 2 and a half hours so really nice and impressive that it isn't on for half the day like most other brands on their eco cycle.

the thing that shocked me the most was the final spin. it does the final spin in stages as Hoover has clearly realised the machine struggles to drain out the water at faster spin speeds so needs to do that for good results. it does its bursts as normal then goes onto a 1000rpm spin then slows down to around 250rpm to allow excess water to drain. it'll then shoot up fast to 1200rpm before slowing down to the same speed again and blasting off to around 1300rpm-1400rpm It was the part next that shocked me. after holding at that speed it'll begin to speed up faster to a speed that's faster than what every other 1600rpm cycle does. I had to try it twice to make sure I wasn't seeing things but it speeds up to proper 1600rpm and holds for a bit before slowing down.

the results were good very good and the spin results as expected were fantastic which is such a shame in a sense as the spin performance on all the other cycles is honestly quite bad and even spin and drain won't help with that much as it only does 1400rpm and ramps up fast to it. I need to do a review on this machine soon but I just feel really cheated out with this machine as I bought it as a 9kg 1600rpm spin washing machine and not an 8kg 1400rpm machine which it technically is 🥲 that doesn't mean as a whole I hate this as its a very interesting machine and has a whole bunch of good points but yeah just damn 🙁
