[Ep 50] When Weather Dictates Your Moves | Sailing To San Carlos & Las Cocinas

Описание: We are starting to make our way north for hurricane season, but first we have to do a big provisioning trip in San Carlos after spending some time in Algodones and Bahia San Pedro. Weather planning is still very new to us so we’ve had to make changes to our plans and decide when it’s ok to sail and when to stay put. Safe to say we made all the right calls for the sails in this episode.

About us
Ahoy there! We’re Armand, Liya, and Pinot and altogether we’re SmoCo Sailing. Without a whole lot of sailing experience, but a dream of sailing the world we bought a sailboat and spent 4 years on DIY boat upgrades and repairs to transform her into a bluewater cruising vessel. SV Cosmo
Cosmo is a 2000 Dufour Center Cockpit sailboat. Supposedly there are only 11 of these models built in the world, which would make sense since we still haven’t found an owner’s manual or proper documentation from Dufour. She is a 43 foot vessel with 2 cabins, 2 heads, and we’ve beefed her up with so many upgrades and features since 2020, she’s practically a whole new boat.
