From the remarkable portfolio of Arthur Freed-Nacio Herb Brown hits comes a tune written for the MGM film “The Pagan,” which starred Ramon Novarro and Dorothy Janis. This was one of handful of releases by the “Copley Plaza Orchestra,” which was a Meyer Davis unit. Rust-Johnson-Shirley lists this title under two different artist headings on two different recording dates…one of them a Bob Haring session.
Transferred from 78rpm: Brunswick 4321 - Pagan Love Song (Freed-Brown) by the Copley Plaza Orchestra, vocal by Frank Munn, recorded in NYC c. March 30, 1929
