Paulo Moura
Son of a master and brother band with other musicians began to play piano and clarinet in Sao Jose do Rio Preto (SP), where he was born. He moved later to Rio de Janeiro, where he began playing in casinos, dances and parties, as part of Zacharias and His Orchestra. Finished his clarinet at the National School of Music, where he also seized music theory, harmony, conducting, orchestration and arrangement. It was the first clarinetist of the National Theatre Orchestra for 17 years. During this period, he traveled with Ary Barroso Mexico and Russia, where he governed the Symphony Orchestra of Moscow.
His connection to jazz is very strong, and formed one of the first jazz bands in the country, playing the saxophone than clarinet. In 1957 he recorded the album "Paulo Moura and his Orchestra to Bailes," who served in another branch. Moving between the popular and erudite, attending the Lane, a stronghold of the bossa nova, and served as arranger for Elis Regina, Fagner, Milton Nascimento. Born into a large and musical family, began playing guitar at 12 years, and then formed the group Os Carioquinhas, who played the choro.
