The New for 2013 Fox FX-590 Chiroptera Karambit from FOX Knives was designed by Rick Derespina of NYC. The Fox 590 Chiroptera is smaller than the FOX 479 Folding Karambit. The Derespina Karambit features a black hawkbill blade of premium N690Co stainless steel and an aggressively textured Black G10 handle. The frame is built with double stainless steel liners for added strength and stability. A removable Quad-mountable (4-position) stainless steel pocket clip is a great improvement over the larger FX-479 model. Dual ambidextrous thumb studs facilitate easy one handed opening.
