Iran fired hundreds of missiles and drones in Syria lighting up the night sky. The Israeli military said that more than 200 drones and missiles have been fired. Air raid sirens and explosions were heard in cities across Israel, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, as Israeli, US, UK and Jordanian forces shot down the missiles and drones. Israel said that most of the drones and missiles fired by Iran were intercepted by its aerial defence systems. It added that one young girl has been injured and an Israeli Defense Forces’ base in the south suffered minor damages. The attacks came after Tehran vowed retaliation following an attack on its consulate in Syria which Iran blamed on Israel.
