The 20 year career photojournalist covers major news, features and sports events, both in South Africa and internationally for EPA Photos, a major international news photo agency.

Kim has covered sports events at the highest level including 4 Tour de France races, 2012/2008 Euro soccer, 2010/2006 FIFA Soccer World Cup, the 2011 Rugby World Cup, the Athens 2004 Summer Olympics, 2003 Cricket World Cup in South Africa, World Cup Swimming, MotoGP, President’s Cup golf, numerous international rugby tests, Super rugby, All Africa Games and 6 ABSA Cape Epic races.
With this coverage, he has won the Fuji Sports photographer of the Year and SAB Sports Photographer of the year awards as well as being published globally in major newspapers.

Kim is also a Canon South Africa Ambassador and has spoken during Canon Roadshows and to various photographic and cycling groups on covering the Tour de France.

He also mentors younger photographers on their paths.

The Lockdown 21 photography sessions are a combination of amazing photographers presenting their work, skills workshops, Q&A's, interviews, etc. I'd like to offer my skills as well as bring together other talented people to see how we can improve our photography and be inspired.
